I created the body of the artwork Noodle Doodle because my mom always needs vases when she picks hydrangeas from our backyard. I made these pieces so she could use the vases to put flowers in to put on our kitchen table. I made three pieces on the wheel. I struggled with making an even cylinder with the curve without closing. I also made two vases that look like a six and a nine-by-hand building. I used the stroke and coat colors graupel, Maloney, arctic blue, and blue isle to make abstract colors. There is no texture or surface design but handles on one piece. I would hope for my viewers to take away from the show that making this is to create and let your creative mind flow until you find what you are wanting to do and do work that you are truly proud of.
